We at Sterling Café are
pleased to announce, that we have just been awarded the 1st
Organic Certification in Washington State, for a Restaurant. In fact
according to the Dept. of Agriculture, we are the First Restaurant
in the Nation, that has such a classification.
Since we opened 9/11/01,
in the ashes of the World Trade Center disaster, we have strived to go
beyond all others in the presentation of a meal, without the use of
Chemicals, Hormones, Antibiotics, Pesticides, Herbicides, GMO, Mildicides,
Fungicides, Irradiation, and the like. We have gone through the
Certification process to prove to everyone, that we are different in our
demands of high quality, pure food, water and air. Our food will always
taste better because of the ingredients we use.
In our restaurant we
remove all contaminates from our water, by Ion exchange then distillation,
for use in the production of Coffee, Tea, Soups, Sauces, and Stocks. We
purify the Air, and 95% or better of all ingredients are organically grown
and processed, from Spices to Steaks. The never ending care of what goes
into our dishes is reflected by what goes onto our plates.
Please let your friends
and family know that this effort is for them and the world at large. We
are slowly killing ourselves and our planet. We must make a change, and
are doing that one dish at a time.
